THE CASE FOR ARTS & CULTURE CONNECT

I coined a phrase once that reads like this - "Complacency Decreases Urgency". This statement can be seen as truth in America and Countries around the world who thought, "If we just leave it alone, it will just go away. So, don't say anything. Just ride it out, they'll get tired and stop this soon enough". I believe that we can look around us and see the devastation this Mindset has caused and cost. Christ Centered Believers around the world must take a Stand - and take it Together - to hold and force back the kingdom of darkness in its fervor to destroy and conquer the earth.

We can all see how that the Arts is used as a conduit to get information out, to retrain, to boost & proclaim darkness, to control the Souls of mankind, and to subvert authority and systems both spiritually and in the natural - all to drive whole nations into hell. 

​

Christ Centered Christians understand that "gross darkness" will cover the earth. The Word of God tells us so. Isaiah 60:2 reads "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." So, we are not surprised that the "dark" creative works of mankind has produced an insatiable appetite in many... for more darkness. But what we find is that the dark creative works poured out into the minds of millions has, and is producing a culture of lawlessness, perversion, hate, murder, and well, basically, a Galatians 5:19-21 kind of culture. Here is how it reads in the New Living Translation -  "19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God."

What is troubling about this scripture is that we see Christians who have aligned themselves with such darkness. We see Christians who have aligned themselves with the systems of this world, their leaders and their ideals and ways.

​

One definition of the word, "culture" reads "the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group."  So, think about it, Christians around the world aligning themselves with political parties, races, and groups whose standards of living, mindset, ideals and principles, are contrary and outright reject the truth of God's Holy Word.  Think about Christians who hold high the values of mankind over the Word of God. Romans chapter 1 expresses the true impact of agreeing with and celebrating the World. Read it in its entirety.

It is quite powerful and revealing. It reveals that when man changes truth into lies and worships "the creature" rather than the Creator, God will "give them up and over to their vile affections" (Romans 1:26).  Strong's Concordance describes the term "ordinances" in Romans 1 as - laws, and the very act of founding, establishing, creating and building; institutions, the things that are created, and the very act of creating. 

​

My Friends, please understand the seriousness of complacency - its impact on societies of this world, and on Christians. Here it is - When anyone chooses not to retain God in their knowledge, there is fruit that is produced from such decisions. (Romans 1:28) All we need do is look and listen, and we will see and hear the results of years of complacency. Romans 1:29-31 provides a description of what it is we are seeing.

There are eternal consequences for "knowing the judgment of God"...  "that they which commit such things are worthy of death," yet and still Christians - right along with Unbelievers "not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them". (Romans 1:32). ​ So, consider where You find yourself today. I believe that each of us must "contend for the faith" - even our own, as we navigate through life - especially now. 

​

Why? I can hear some of you asking. Well, today, we have been presented reasons to FEAR. We were to fear Donald Trump's agenda. We were to Fear COVID 19. We were to fear medications known to prevent death of COVID 19. We were to fear being closer than 6 feet from one another. We were to fear not wearing masks. We were to fear going to church. We were not to fear being in Walmart. We were not to fear looters, rioters and lawlessness. We are to fear those who will not agree to get a shot... those who will not agree to multiple genders... those who will not agree to a Woman's right to kill her baby. We are to fear those who want to be safe in their own communities, and in yours. We are to fear those who want access to great education, health benefits and housing. We are to fear those who want race related inequities to cease. We are to fear those who want to have borders. We are to fear those who want a legal path of entry into the United States. We are to fear anyone who encourages people to train for work and to work for income. We are to fear - according to the wicked - what God wants us all to have!

Friends, the moment we hold higher, the values, standards, and ordinances of men, above God and His Word, we set ourselves on a track headed away from God. God's Word encourages us to obey the law, but it also informs us that it is better to obey God rather than man. (Acts 5:27-29) Scripture gives us person after person who obeyed God, and what the end was for them.  Now, here, today, we find ourselves face to face with culture - "woke" ideals, "cancel culture" and pressure to conform or else. Or else what? Or else - lose your job, status, education, ranking, and perhaps (and God forbid) your life. 

​

Today, in America, and around the World, Christians are persecuted for their Faith and Walk in Jesus Christ. The term, “Complacency Decreases Urgency” has never become more real. Let’s you and I work together to build the Faith of our fellow Christians, AND of those who will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

 

The stakes are high as we contend for our families, our cities, our states and our nation. It begins within communities… well, no, it BEGINS within our own hearts.  I call it HLPAA… an acronym whereby I teach a Standard of Living for these last days. We must allow the Spirit of God to purify our hearts so that we walk out our lives in the love of God, keeping short accounts with God and Man. We must walk in the Lifestyle of a True Worshipper of Jesus Christ. Our lives should reflect true worship in the way that we give, live in holiness and in our times of declared adoration towards God. We must walk in a level of Power not tampered by the World’s flow... and use of power... but by a force that allows us to be governed by the Word of God - allowing Him to instruct, guide, and give us the winning strategies for this life. We must Guard our Anointing. We must protect our gifts, talents and skills from use by wicked and evil men and women who manipulate, destroy, steal, and kill, to advance dark and ungodly agenda. We must guard our hearts and our pockets from those who seek to control us - even through their conversations about our need for, or desire, for power and money.

 

And finally, we must take all of these – Pure Hearts, Lifestyle of a True Worshipper of Jesus Christ, Walking in the Power of God, while Guarding our Anointing and Advance in True Authority to tear down the kingdom of darkness throughout the land, and throughout the earth. We have been given Kingdom Authority to destroy the evil works of the evil one. True Authority comes only with the heavy price of Submission to HLPAA. Other than this – our flesh speaks… loudly or quietly…boldly or in passive resistance. But God is looking for us to remain hidden in Christ Jesus in a time when Boldness in Him is absolutely required. And we Can Do It… but successfully - In and Through Him. So today, We Fight… We Fight Together… and We Fight In Truth…the Good Fight of Faith!!!
